With 95 million posts going up daily on Instagram and 500 hours of video footage uploaded on YouTube every minute, how do you stand out in the sea of content online? How do you get your target market to find you?
The answer? Consistency!
But showing up consistently with captivating content isn’t child's play.
Here’s how to show up consistently, so you can stand out from your competitors and connect with your dream audience without feeling overwhelmed.
Two things:
Develop a Content Plan to know what to post regularly.
Batch-create your content so you don't have to create one whenever you need to share content—which can be overwhelming.
How To Develop A Consistent Posting Plan
Having a content plan gives you a sense of direction.
It also answers one question most business owners ask, “What do I need to post today to convert my content to sales?”
Ideally, you should be posting five primary types of content; if you want to stand out from your competitors. Check out the five types of content here.
And having a goal will help you to choose and arrange the content types that will give you results.
Your goal can range from increasing conversion (more leads or sales) to creating brand awareness (brand visibility) or growing your community (more followers or engagement).
If you’re trying to increase brand awareness (get more people to know about your brand and build new connections), you need to create and publish content that will inspire people to have conversations with your brand or get them to be a part of your community.
E.g. Inspirational Stories, Affirmations, Quotes, or Educational Content.
And if you’re looking for more leads and conversions, you’d use a full-funnel approach. Check this content out to learn more about that.
Once you know your goal and the type of content you should be posting, you need to create a posting schedule.
Figure out which posts need to go out on what day, and break them down into the days of the week.
You can use Notion to create a board that helps you capture captivating content ideas, create a schedule and organise your content.
How to Batch-create Captivating Content
Now that you have a plan, you can batch-create your content one week ahead to save you time and stress.
The first step is to generate content ideas. All you have to do is type your industry-related keywords or the keywords your target audience will search for to find you online in keyword research tools.
You can use Answerthepublic, Title-generator or ChatGPT to do that.

Once you have enough ideas for the coming week, you can use AI to hasten your content development process.

With that out of the way, you can present the content in any suitable media format—Photo, Graphics, Carousel, Video, etc— and schedule or post when you’re ready.
PS. You can use a day to generate ideas, another day to develop content, and another day to present your content in your preferred format to make the process less overwhelming.
PPS. You can use Content Simplified to efficiently plan, organise and develop your content if you don’t want to go through the hassle of creating a board on Notion or figuring out how to do it from scratch. Hit here to learn more.
With these steps, you can show up consistently, connect with your dream audience and stay ahead of your competitors.
